Shree Tadkeshwar Mahadev Temple is an ancient Shiva temple located in Abrama, near Valsad in Gujarat. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple is renowned for its unique open-sky sanctum, where the sacred Shivling remains directly exposed to sunlight throughout the day. This distinctive feature gives the temple its name—"Tadkeshwar," derived from the Gujarati word Tadko, meaning sunlight. Believed to be over 800 years old, the temple is among the oldest places of worship in the Valsad region. Surrounded by a peaceful natural setting near the Wanki River, it attracts devotees seeking spiritual blessings as well as visitors interested in its unique architectural design and history. According to long-standing beliefs, attempts to construct a roof over the Shivling were unsuccessful, leading devotees to preserve the shrine in its open form.
